The Tartan Blanket Co is a wonderful family business based in Scotland and headed up by husband and wife team Fergus and Emma. 

Their committment to being a Positive Impact Company, intent on leaving a positive handprint on the world instead of a carbon footprint, has led the company to partner with a mill in India, run by a family team, who uses 100% recycled materials and supports a community of women who hand finish all of our recycled wool blankets, creating much needed jobs and giving each blanket a personal, unique finish, and a second mill in Mongolia: again, a family business based in Inner Mongolia who uses traditional, people-led farming methods, putting the animals welfare first.

They also work with local dyers, spinners, weavers and finishers, which supports the village community and maintains end-to-end production transparency and control.  Their blankets are made from recycled wool and mixed fibres - beautifully soft in a range of gorgeous colours.
